Army major's wife found with throat slit in Delhi Cantonment
The body of an Army major's wife, 35, was found with her throat slit near Brar Square in the Delhi Cantonment area yesterday, police said. Initially, the police was informed that a woman had died in an accident. Later, when they inspected the body, it was found that her throat had been slit. Police said they have found some clues about the accused's identity.
Accused tried to make the incident look like an accident
The accused had allegedly run a car over her face in order to make the incident appear as an accident, police said. The woman was dropped at Army base hospital in her husband's official vehicle. Later, when he came back to pick her up, he couldn't find her and learnt that she didn't attend her scheduled physiotherapy session, police said. An investigation was underway.
