Delhi biker's throat slit by police barricade wire
In a freak accident, a 21-year-old biker was killed in Delhi after an iron wire used to tie two police barricades allegedly slit his throat. The mishap happened in Netaji Subhash Place when Abhishek Kumar was returning from work early this morning. "Prima facie it appears that Abhishek was driving at high speed and didn't see the wire," a cop said.
Police trying to ascertain what exactly happened
Abhishek, a graduate who was preparing for competitive exams, reportedly used to work as a part-time DJ. His father is an Ola driver. Police suspect the Shakurpur JJ Colony resident was trying to either park between the barricades or drove into the wire by accident. "Autopsy will confirm whether he died due to strangulation or cutting of his throat," said DCP Aslam Khan.
