Delhi, Noida schools, St Stephen's College receive bomb threat
What's the story
Ahlcon International School in East Delhi and Shiv Nadar School in Noida received bomb threats through email on Friday.
In response to the threats, bomb detection teams, disposal squads, dog squads, fire department officials and local police were rushed to the schools.
A police officer said no suspicious items were found at either school.

Ahlcon International School responds to bomb threat
After the bomb threat, Ahlcon International School released a statement to inform parents about the development.
The school said: "Due to an email threat received this morning, we are compelled to close school today keeping the safety of our students in mind. Your patience and cooperation in this regard shall be highly appreciated."

Previous bomb threats in Noida schools
The Delhi Police also said that St. Stephen's College received bomb threat via email at 7:42am.
These incidents come barely two days after four Noida schools received bomb threats via spam emails on February 5.
The schools were Step by Step School, The Heritage School, Gyanshree School and Mayoor School.
Local authorities acted quickly with police and bomb squads conducting checks. After detailed inspections, the situation was declared normal and classes resumed.
