13-year-old boy playing cricket electrocuted to death in Delhi
What's the story
A 13-year-old boy was electrocuted to death at a cricket ground in Ranhola, an area in outer Delhi, on Saturday. The incident occurred when the boy came into contact with an iron pole carrying an electric wire while retrieving a ball during the game. According to the Delhi Police, they received a PCR call around 1:30pm alerting them of the incident. The boy was immediately rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital by a PCR van.

However, hospital authorities declared him dead upon arrival. Following the incident, an FIR under Section 106(1) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered and an investigation has been initiated by the police. The iron pole that caused the electrocution was reportedly carrying an electric wire to a gaushala situated in a corner of the cricket ground
