    What's the story

Himachal Pradesh Congress on Saturday launched a campaign over the alleged failures of the Narendra Modi dispensation and passed five resolutions against the Centre and the state government.

In a one-day convention in Mandi, state Congress chief Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu said the party would reach out to people at the grass root and the campaign would continue till the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

The event was attended by MLAs, former ministers, and other senior leaders.

However, former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, his son Vikramaditya Singh and their supporters were not present.

Leaders at the convention alleged that the Modi government had failed to bring back black money and deposit Rs. 15 lakh in bank accounts.

Congress leaders also attacked the Centre on the PNB fraud.
