Mumbai: Chartered aircraft crashes in Ghatkopar, at least five dead

A chartered aircraft belonging to a private company crashed in the heavily populated area of Ghatkopar in Mumbai today.
According to reports, it was trying to land when it crashed near Sarvoday Hospital.
At least five people have been killed, Indian Express confirms.
Locals reported seeing black smoke and flames rising from the spot.
Ambulances and fire tenders have been rushed for rescue.

Details
Aircraft was sold by UP government to UY Aviation
According to Prapti Pednekar, a resident, "There's a lot of smoke and no clarity how many people are inside. The passerby who died was taken away in an ambulance."
The aircraft, sold by the UP government to UY Aviation in 2014, is registered VT-UPZ, KING AIR C90, IE reported.
Apart from police, fire and medical teams, NDRF personnel have also been mobilized.
