This time, the final schedules have been released early
The final schedule, this time, has been released earlier than the usual January release, owing to the fact that practical examinations for Class 12 will start from mid-January itself. Exams for vocational subjects, meanwhile, will start from mid-February. CBSE has also taken care to ensure that the Class 12 board exams do not clash with competitive exams.
Important things to remember about the CBSE board exams
Examinations for each subject will begin at 10.30am on the specified dates. Answer books will be distributed to candidates at 10am, while question papers will be distributed at 10.15am. Students will have 15 minutes to peruse the question paper before the examination begins.
What about Class 12 practical exams?
The CBSE had earlier released the practical exam dates for Class 12 students. According to the schedule, the practical exam for Class 12 will be held from January 16-February 15, 2019. However, the board may stretch or change the practical exam schedule considering the fact that the first phase of JEE Mains 2019 is scheduled to be conducted between January 6-20, on multiple dates.
