Haryana: Student, who topped CBSE, allegedly gang-raped
In a ghastly turn of events, a 19-year-old woman who was felicitated by the President for topping CBSE board exam has alleged she was gang-raped in Haryana by men of her village. The incident took place in Mahendargarh district of Haryana on Thursday, reports said. After raping her, the men dumped her at a bus stop, where she was found in the unconscious state.
Men kidnap woman, take her to field, rape her
The woman alleged she was returning from her coaching center when three men kidnapped her. She was dragged to a field and gang-raped. She added there were other men present at the location, who took turns to rape her. Further, her parents alleged police didn't file a complaint, as the accused threatened to not pursue the matter.
Police officer says zero FIR filed on victim's complaint
After running from one police station to another, a zero FIR was filed on the complaint of the victim. A police officer at Rewari confirmed the zero FIR was filed and said they are investigating the matter. A zero FIR is filed in a police station under whose jurisdiction a crime didn't happen, but it can be transferred to the relevant police station later.
