CBSE releases tentative subject lists for February, March board exams
Complying to a Delhi High Court order, the CBSE had earlier announced plans to conduct its annual Board examinations in two legs. Now, the CBSE has announced that it will conduct examinations for all Skill Education (Vocational) subjects in February end, along with some academic subjects opted for by small numbers of students. Examinations for other subjects will be held in March. Here's more.
Detailed sheet with exam dates is yet to be released
It should be noted that the list released is a tentative list, and that a detailed sheet with examination dates is yet to be released. That said, the tentative list gives a fair idea about which exams will be held in February, and which ones in March. Meanwhile, the CBSE has also revised the question paper format for the English (Core) exam.
How you can access the list
You can access the list by heading to the CBSE website, and looking under the 'Circulars' link. Alternatively, you can just click here. Once you access the list, the subjects for which examinations will be held in February 2019 will be listed under Annexure I (Class-X) and Annexure II (Class-XII). Similarly, Annexures III (Class-X) and IV (Class-XII) list subjects for March/April 2019.
Final list will be communicated once exam forms are filled
"As the...examination forms have not yet been filled, therefore, after receiving the complete data of examinees, who would be appearing in Class X and in Class XII examination in 2019, the subject list of February and March/April month will be finalized and communicated," said CBSE.
