CBSE Class-12 students sign petition for lenient marking in Physics
CBSE"s "lengthy and tricky" question paper for Class 12 Physics had left many students in doubt. They hadn't got much time to prepare either; the exams had started on March 5 with English, and Physics was on March 7. Citing these reasons, students have started an online petition on change.org seeking lenient marking in the subject. Till 10am, over 71,000 had signed it.
Details about the petition
Terming the Physics paper "disappointing," the petition says many questions were "bit tricky and indirect...especially the 3 Mark questions from Section C." It was all the more difficult as "we only got a single day to revise." Moreover, moderation policy had been revoked from this year, it noted. "We request the CBSE to make the correction liberal so that it won't affect our future."
