CBSE Class-12 Biology: Tricky questions, but most complete on time
A day after CBSE Class 12 Arts students appeared their Economics exam, their Science counterparts had Biology today. Reactions have mostly been mixed: while some said they found it easy, others pointed out there were a few tricky questions. Teachers felt those who had studied the NCERT books properly should be able to score well.
'Questions were application-based but manageable, could complete on time'
For Anusha Bhardwaj (Lucknow), "The overall paper was tricky, especially the three-mark questions which were confusing." Most questions were application-based, but manageable, felt Asif Anwar (Lucknow). Rubiya Siddiqui (Bhopal) wasn't expecting questions to be "that easy" anyway, but "every question was from NCERT books." Vaishnavi (Patna), who completed the paper before time, is sure "I'll score above 60 out of 70," maybe even 65.
'Those who studied NCERT books properly can score well'
Amita Mishra, Biology teacher (Lucknow), said "questions were brain trickling" but those who had studied NCERT books properly should be able to score well. PK Pathak (Patna) said the difficulty level was moderate, and "even an average student can score good marks. Most students completed before time." A subject teacher in Allahabad said the paper was "balanced" and "all topics were covered adequately."
