CBSE Class 10 Results: Meet the toppers
The CBSE Class 10 board examination results have been declared and four candidates - Prakhar Mittal, Nandini Garg, Rimzhim Aggarwal, and Sreelakshmi G - have emerged as joint toppers with a whopping 499 marks secured out of 500. 16.38 lakh people had registered for this year's exam. Prakhar Mittal thanks his parents, teachers for his success
Prakhar Mittal, a student of Delhi Public School in Gurgaon's Sector 45, credited his parents and teachers for his success. In an interview with Hindustan times, he thanked his teachers for their guidance and notes and his parents for not pressurizing him at all. Mittal, who studied around seven hours a day, said he could do it at his "own pace with a cool head".
Nandini Garg's two pearls of wisdom
Nandini Garg from Scottish International School, Shamli, had some wisdom to share. In an interview with India Today education, the joint topper said that the key to preparing for the exams is keeping one's mind "stress free". Meanwhile, Nandini's father said that he had "no words" to describe his joy at his daughter's success, who topped without taking a single tuition.
Sreelakshmi couldn't believe the results, thought it was a joke
Meanwhile, Sreelakshmi G, from Bhavan's Varuna Vidyalaya in Cochin, said that when her father informed her about her success, she thought it "was a joke". Then it dawned on her. "It was quite unexpected...I couldn't believe it", said the 15-year-old. Sreelakshmi said she wants to join Armed Forces Medical College in Pune eventually, and serve those who sacrifice their lives for India.
