CBSE paper leak: Re-examination for Class-12 Economics, Class-10 Math
After vehemently denying reports of question paper leaks, CBSE has announced re-examination for Class 12 Economics and Class 10 Math papers. The Economics exam was conducted on March 26 and Math today. The re-examination is being held to "uphold the sanctity of the Board Examinations and in the interest of fairness to students." The new date will be announced within a week.

Economics paper had leaked on social media hours before exam
Reports of the Economics question paper being leaked through social media had emerged hours before the paper commenced on Monday. Urging students not to panic, CBSE had said, "We have checked with all examination centers and the paper wasn't leaked." The Class 12 exam is currently scheduled to end on April 13, but might be pushed back depending on the new Economics exam date.

Meanwhile, reports of the Class 10 Math paper being leaked have made the rounds since yesterday night. According to sources, it was found that the leaked paper matched the original one.
No re-examination for Class-12 Accountancy, the first to be hit
Earlier, the CBSE had also been hit by reports of Class 12 Accountancy paper leak, but they had denied it. A paper matching Set-II, according to Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia, had reportedly been circulated on WhatsApp a day before the exam on March 15. CBSE called an urgent meeting, but blamed miscreants for "disturb(ing) the sanctity of examinations."
Over 28L students have registered for CBSE Class board exams
Over 28L students had registered for CBSE's Class 10 and 12 board exams, both of which started on March 5. While 16.4L students are appearing the Class 10 exams, 11.8L are writing their Class 12 exams.
