CBSE releases admit cards for compartment exams: Details here
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for the compartment examinations for Classes 10 and 12. The admit cards are available for download on the board's official website, cbse.nic.in, for both private and regular candidates. Notably, CBSE has scheduled the exams from July 2-10; the complete schedule can also be downloaded from the official site. Here are the details.
Regular candidates should collect their admit cards from respective schools
While the private candidates can download their admit cards directly from the website, regular candidates will have to get it from their respective schools. In case of regular candidates, only the school authorities can login to get the admit cards. Once the admit cards are downloaded, the schools will distribute them to the respective students. Here is how private candidates can download their admit cards
Here are the steps private candidates can follow to download their admit cards: 1- Click the direct link here 2- Select your region, i.e., 'Delhi Region' or 'Other Region' 3- Search your admit card by using your name, application number or previous roll-no 4- Click on 'Proceed' once all the details are filled 5- Download it and take a print out.
All the exams are scheduled from 10:30AM to 1:30PM
To note, the candidates must carry their admit cards to the examination centers, else they won't be allowed to sit for the exam. The timing of the exam remains the same for all subjects, i.e., 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. However, the students are advised to reach the center before time as the answer books will be distributed between 10:00-10:15 am.
CBSE provides three attempts to clear a failed subject
The candidates must also note that CBSE provides three attempts to them to clear a compartment exam. If a student fails in a subject in this attempt, he/she can retake the exam in March/April 2020 and then finally in July/August 2020.
