CAT 2017: Examination to be held on November 26
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 for admission into the top B-schools, will be conducted on November 26. The registration for CAT 2017 will begin from August 9 and the window will end on September 20. This year, IIM Lucknow will be organizing the exam and it will be held in two sessions.
CAT 2017: Know the exam pattern
The examination will have three sections, that is, verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. Candidates will be given three hours to solve the question paper. Moreover, candidates cannot switch to another section while solving a particular section. In fact, some questions may not be MCQs and direct answers will have to be typed on the screen.
Admit cards can be downloaded post October 18
Registrations for CAT 2017 can be done online via credit/debit cards and net banking. Candidates appearing for the examination will be able to download their admit cards post October 18. Also, CAT 2017 will be held across 140 cities with candidates having the option of selecting four cities in order of preference.
