#Intellectualism: Terrorism has no religion, but martyrs have a caste
What's the story
How vile are if you call martyrs' family members and inquire about their caste? And, how stupid are you if you interpret those numbers wrong? Or did you fudge up those numbers?
Are you now ashamed of yourself when CRPF's chief spokesperson Moses Dhinakaran asked you to not insult the martyrs?
They protect you, and they call themselves Indians first. Can you call yourself an Indian?
Yet, you are not alone. There are many "intellectuals" like you.
Details
Context: While nation wept, someone "investigated" caste of fallen
The divisive article was published in Caravan just days after Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked a CRPF convoy in J&K's Pulwama in which 40 soldiers were martyred.
Pushing the emotions of grief aside, the publication went ahead and did a story on the caste of soldiers.
The motive was to show those from oppressed castes laid down their lives while the privileged ones didn't do much.
Information
Many, many kinds of intellectuals
Now that we have established how an "intellectual" mind works, let us dig deeper and find out more about them. You will be surprised by their vileness, pettiness and hypocrisy. Grab some popcorn!
Media
Intellectual No. 1: Freedom of expression is "restricted" to us
Before Twitter entered our lives, the mainstream media, with its biases and fabricated lies, was ruling the narrative. In this largely one-sided communication, they could twist facts, bluff Indians, and still be called elite.
No body could question them, except a certain Italian.
But now, much to their dismay, times have changed. Their version of facts are no longer sacrosanct, and the moment you call out their bluff, they are rattled and go all abusive.
After all, their freedom of expression is greater than yours.

Intellectual No. 2: Art is inclusive, but we are nepotistic
The collective IQ of anyone remotely associated with Bollywood is remarkably low, but that's beyond the scope of discussion here.
Bollywood babas go hammers and tongs about inclusiveness, they tell us art crosses all barriers. But, their own kingdom is restricted to Khans and Kapoors. Ask, Ms. Ranaut!
The regressive industry which defines nepotism talks about inclusiveness - Irony died a million deaths, and did jauhar.

Intellectual No. 3: Only Left is right
Left can't see right, and their selective rage is funny.
They come in chauffeur driven cars to uplift the downtrodden, they think all Hindus are orthodox, they hold cigars in their hands and chant azaadi, they wear FabIndia kurtas while giving gaali to capitalism.
Their cool religion is secularism.
All their lives, they wake up with a hangover of Lenin and Marx. That socialism doesn't work in real life, hasn't worked in any country - they don't fathom. Or perhaps can't.
Personal
Conclusion
Tum kitne Afzhal maroge, har ghar se Afzhal niklega. Tum kitne intellectuals call out karoge, har computer se intellectual lies peddle karega. The best way is to, perhaps, ignore them. These attention craving souls will then be rendered useless.
