Delhi: Building collapses in Sadar Bazaar; two injured
After heavy rains battered Delhi, a four-storied building in Paan Mandi in old city's Sadar Bazaar near New Delhi Railway Station has collapsed today evening. No deaths have been reported so far while two people were injured. The building was reportedly being used as a godown. Eight fire engines are present at the location; fire brigade personnel are conducting rescue and relief operations.
Second such incident in Delhi-NCR
Officials have not yet confirmed the actual damage due to the building collapse in Sadar Bazaar. It is the second such incident in Delhi-NCR today. It comes hours after a landfill at East Delhi's Ghazipur caved in, claiming two lives.
