Odisha: BSF recruitment facilitation centers opened in remote, Maoist-hit areas
The Border Security Force has opened at least 18 facilitation centers at several places in Odisha's four Maoist-hit districts for helping locals get recruitment in Central Armed Para-military Forces (CAPF). They have been opened in Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, and Nabarangpur districts. These centers would ignite a hope amongst the local and tribal youths to serve the nation and fulfill their dreams, BSF said.
BSF centers to assist youths in preparing for competitive exams
Generally, youths from remote areas don't get a chance to compete with the mainstream for employment despite their talent and eligibility, BSF said adding it's also due to lack of awareness about the application process. The centers would assist youths in preparing for competitive examinations and help them in the application process, create general awareness in schools/colleges, and distribute pamphlets about the recruitment.
