Three Bihar sisters found brutally murdered inside home, rape suspected
Three young sisters were found inside their house today, brutally murdered with deep injuries on their throats and forehead. An axe, another sharp-edged weapon, and blood-stained clothes of the 10-14-year-olds were also found near their bodies. Since the family was poor and no household items were missing, police suspect the horrific crime involved rape. They are awaiting post mortem reports to confirm sexual assault.
Mother returned home to find a locked door
The girls aged 10-14 were alone at home in Katoria village when it happened. Their father, a laborer in West Bengal, stayed outside home, and their mother was visiting another village. When she returned home this morning, she was surprised to find the door locked from outside. With the help of neighbors, they broke it open and found the bodies.
Post mortem reports will provide more clues
The mother has named a few persons she suspects of being involved. Police have detained two for interrogation. Forensic teams and dog squads were rushed to the house to pick up clues. The probe will proceed further after the post-mortem results are out.
