Delhi: British national arrested over sexual abuse of blind children
A British national has been arrested in Delhi over alleged sexual abuse of blind children at a house for visually-impaired persons in RK Puram. Murray Denis Ward has been a regular donor at the National Association for the Blind since eight-nine years. Recently, shocking allegations emerged that he had abused three minors. 54-year-old Ward was working with Sterlite Technology Limited, Gurgaon, till April.
'Objectionable' material found on the accused's personal devices
Police were intimated about the alleged harassment of children at NAB on September 3. During enquiry, Ward's involvement came to light. His mobile phone and laptop were seized. Several 'objectionable' clips had been found on his devices. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act. Ward suffered a paralytic attack in February this year. The alleged paedophile has been under treatment since then.
