Domestic-quarrel gone wrong: Sons died, mother hospitalized after consuming poison
In a shocking incident, two boys- aged 13 and 11, passed away in Tamil Nadu's Velipalyam area on Friday. Their 33-year-old mother was hospitalized. The trio is suspected to have consumed poison after the woman, Ajantha, had a quarrel with her husband. The police are reported to be questioning Ajantha's husband in this case.
After argument, husband leaves house in fit of rage
According to PTI report, the husband left his house in a fit of rage after a quarrel with the wife. On returning, he broke open the house's door and found his sons dead. His wife was in semi-conscious states and was rushed to the hospital. Ajantha is in a critical state and battling for her life, suggested report.

The rate of suicide deaths among Indian women needs attention. According to a WHO data of 2015, India comes second for its female suicide rate of 17.9 deaths per 100,000 people. An article published in Indian Journal of Psychiatry blamed high expectations on women to get married and stay married, for suicides. The pressure is responsible for driving many off the edge.
