Bomb threat: SWAT teams, fire engines at Delhi HC
The Delhi HC has been put on high alert after a bomb threat was received. SWAT teams, fire tenders and bomb squads were rushed to the site. It is not known yet whether the threat call was genuine or a hoax. Preliminary searches didn't unearth anything suspicious. The capital had anyway been on alert since before Independence Day in the wake of terror threats.
A blast in 2011 killed 11
On September 7, 2011, the Delhi HC had come under attack. A bomb blast outside Gate Number 5 had killed 11 and injured over 70. Both Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and Indian Mujahideen claimed responsibility.Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and Indian Mujahideen claimed responsibility.
