Legendary actor Sridevi passes away, at 54
Bollywood actor Sridevi passed away on Saturday night after a massive cardiac arrest. She was 54. Sridevi, along with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi, was in UAE to attend the wedding ceremony of Mohit Marwah. The news has been confirmed by her brother-in-law, Sanjay Kapoor. She is survived by her husband, Boney Kapoor and her daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.

"Yes, it is true that Sridevi passed away. I just landed here, I was in Dubai and now I am flying back to Dubai. It happened roughly around 11.00-11.30. I don't know more details yet," Sanjay Kapoor confirmed the news to Indian Express.

In her second innings, she won hearts of millions with movies like English Vinglish. She was last seen in MOM in 2017. Notably, she started her career as a child artist at the age of four, and has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada films.
