For Guru-Nanak Jayanti in November, BJP-leaders tweet greetings in April
What's the story
Many ministers of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Sunday, wished Guru Nanak Jayanti. There is only one problem. The birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism falls on November 23, this year.
Among the ones who sent out wishes were deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, state spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh, medical education minister Ashutosh Tandon and law minister Brajesh Pathak.
They later deleted their tweets.

Siddharth Nath Singh blames Wikipedia for early greetings
After the tweets were deleted, Siddharth Nath Singh issued an apology on Twitter and attached a screenshot of Wikipedia. He underlined 15 April on the page to prove his point.
However, the mistake caught the attention of social media users.
A day before the goof-up, UP chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had paid a visit to Gurdwara Naka Hindola in Lucknow to celebrate Baisakhi.
