Bihar: Student killed, 2 injured in clash over cheating

A violent clash between two groups of matriculation students over cheating in an examination in Bihar's Sasaram, Rohtas district, has resulted in the death of a 10th-grade student.
The fight turned into a gunfight inside the examination hall, with one student shot in the leg and another in the back.
The third student died during treatment.

Police intervention calms situation after tragic incident
After the tragic incident, local villagers and family members of the deceased student tried blocking a highway in protest.
However, police officials managed to defuse the situation by assuring them of prompt action in the case.
The Bihar School Examination Board's class 10 Matric final exams began on February 17 and will continue till February 25.

CBSE board exams commence amidst Bihar incident
In related news, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) started its board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 on February 15.
CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj confirmed, "The CBSE board exams for Classes 10 and 12 have started."
He said Class 10 English and Class 12 Entrepreneurship exams were conducted smoothly at several centers with high student participation.
