Bihar groom thrashed by bride's family for hiding his baldness
Recently, a groom from Bihar was beaten by the bride's family for allegedly hiding his baldness and thereby cheating the girl's family. Reportedly, the groom tried to "deceitfully" wed by donning a wig beneath the 'Sehra' (a headdress worn by grooms during weddings). The incident, which took place in Dobhi village, Bihar, was captured on video and subsequently shared on social media.
Here's what happened
According to news sources, the groom, a state resident from the Iqbal Nagar neighborhood, sported a wig throughout the wedding ceremony. However, his bald head was revealed when the bride's relatives became suspicious of him and yanked out his hair. The bride's family was so furious about the case that they lost all control and started assaulting and verbally abusing the groom.

The groom pleaded several times
The groom can be seen being physically assaulted and verbally abused by the bride's family in the video that has gone viral on social media platforms. Despite the groom's repeated efforts to win their forgiveness, the bride's family took their grievance to the village authorities. Reportedly, the police weren't involved and the situation was handled at the panchayat level by the village heads.
It is said to be the groom's second marriage
According to reports, the bride's family became even angrier upon learning that the groom was attempting to enter into a second marriage while still legally married to his first wife. The video however did not settle well with the internet. Many were critical of the bride's family's reaction. "Not good to disrespect anyone in this way," reads a comment.
