Couple arrested in Bihar for beating 28-year-old son to death
A couple was arrested today in Khagaria district, Bihar, on the charge of beating their son to death over a family dispute, a police officer said. An FIR has been lodged in the case at Maheshkhunt police station and an investigation is underway, the police said, adding that the body of the deceased has been sent to Khagaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Deceased frequently fought with parents, was having extramarital affair
The deceased, Arbind Kumar Chaurasia, 28, was allegedly caned to death by his parents at Maheskhunt village yesterday, following an altercation. Chaurasia, who had deserted his wife, was also having an extramarital affair and would frequently pick up fights with his parents, cops said.
