Harbhajan Singh lashes out at racist Jet Airways pilot
Off spinner Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter lambasting a Jet Airways pilot for manhandling a female passenger and hurling racist abuses at her and her physically-challenged friend. He urged Jet Airways and Prime Minister Modi to initiate a probe into the incident and take action against the pilot. He said "such things should not be allowed or tolerated in our country."

Taking to Twitter, Harbhajan said "Not only was he racist but physically assaulted a lady and abused a physically challenged man..absolutely disgraceful &shame on @jetairways."
What was the incident about?
According to reports, the incident occurred on a Chandigarh-Mumbai Jet Airways flight on April 3. Passenger Pooja Gujaral and her wheelchair-bound friend were "screamed at" by the pilot for checking in her friend's wheel-chair, which was supposed to be available to him to deplane. The pilot allegedly referred to Pooja as a "bloody Indian", asked her to "get out" and pushed her.
What was Jet Airways' response?
Jet Airways stated that "corrective action will be taken after due investigation." They added that they regretted the incident and have "initiated a full-fledged investigation, based on specific inputs from guests, concerned departments and agencies." The airline has had past trouble over Indian pilots being treated differently over foreign pilots who were employed.
