Bhadohi: Over 60 students ill after eating expired biscuits

Over 60 students in UP's Bhadohi have fallen ill allegedly after eating expired biscuits provided by the Aashram Paddati Vidyalaya, ANI reported.
Some reports have estimated the number of victims at 100. About 45 are allegedly critical.
After eating the biscuits, students complained of abdominal pain and started vomiting.
District administration officials have reportedly confirmed the biscuits were expired, and assured action against defaulters.

Details
What happened?
The incident happened yesterday evening at around 6 pm, when the school distributed biscuits to the students.
Soon they started complaining of sickness. Around 8 pm, 10 ambulances rushed the students to a local government hospital.
Most of the victims were aged 10-14.
Though about 55 are feeling better, they are being kept under observation.
