    What's the story

In a case which has sent chills down the spine of residents of Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, a 15-year-old girl allegedly killed her father last week as he disliked her friendship with her 19-year-old boyfriend, named Praveen.

The deceased, a 41-year-old garments businessman, was found dead on Sunday.

According to the police, the girl was angry with her father and hatched the plan with her boyfriend.

    Accused

Both accused spent time together, eventually miffing girl's father

The teens studied in the same school and were pretty tight. Even after Praveen went off to pursue his graduation, the two stayed in touch.

A TOI report claimed Praveen gifted a phone to the minor and they used to have long conversations.

"When the girl's father learned about it, he asked his daughter to end the friendship," a police officer said.
