Bangladesh resumes visa services from Agartala mission after 2 months
What's the story
The Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, Tripura, has resumed its visa and consular services after a two-month hiatus.
The suspension, which started on December 3, was a response to the breach of the mission's premises by protesters demonstrating against the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das in Dhaka.
"All visa and consular services of the Bangladesh Asst High Commission will resume on February 5," said Md Al Amin, First Secretary of the Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner's office.
