#AssamTrainBlast: 11 injured in explosion in Kamakhya-Dekargaon Intercity Express
What's the story
As many as 11 people have reportedly been injured in an explosion inside one of the coaches of the Kamakhya-Dekargaon Intercity Express in Assam's Udalguri.
The explosion took place at around 6:45 pm when the train was near Harisinga railway station, said a media report quoting a Northeast Frontier Railway spokesperson.
The condition of one of the injured persons is critical.

Information
Police have launched an investigation
The police have initiated a probe into the explosion, and they are yet to ascertain whether the blast was caused by a bomb or short circuit. Railway officials and police have rushed to the incident site that is located about 95km from Guwahati.
