Sick or drama? TDP leaders fall ill after cycle rallies
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly upset with TDP leaders falling sick after conducting cycle rallies across the state. The CM is reported to have ordered an inquiry to probe the reason, to learn if ailing leaders are doing it just to get party tickets. Recently, many TDP leaders undertook cycle rallies seeking special status for Andhra Pradesh.
All for tickets? Intelligence officers probing case
Reportedly, intelligence officers are probing to know if the leaders are genuinely falling sick or it has ulterior motives. A senior TDP leader said these leaders learned about the increase in assembly seats and employed different methods to get attention. "Gathering the inputs of the incident will give a correct picture, and also give a chance to allot ticket to genuine leaders," he added.
The sudden rise in sick leaders, Naidu smells a conspiracy
The leaders who suffered sunstroke recently were Maganti Babu, Kuna Ravi Kumar, and Suryanarayana. State minister C Ayyanna Patrudu's son's hand got fractured after he met with an accident. The sudden rise in these cases alerted Naidu who ordered a thorough investigation. Sources told TOI, Naidu has always relied on statistics and will follow the same even now.
