Absconding actor Armaan Kohli finally arrested for assaulting girlfriend
Bollywood actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli has finally been arrested over a week after his live-in girlfriend Neeru Randhawa accused him of physically assaulting her. The actor, who's been absconding for a week since Neeru filed the complaint with Mumbai's Santacruz police, has been apprehended from a farmhouse in Lonavla. He was reportedly hiding at his friend Baba's farmhouse. Here's more.
Neeru was hospitalized after Armaan assaulted her
Soon after receiving Neeru's complaint, the police questioned Kohli's father about his whereabouts; his father, however, said he didn't know where Armaan was. The actor's girlfriend was reportedly admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital after he physically assaulted her. The couple has been in a live-in relationship since 2015. A case under IPC Sections 323, 326, 504, and 506 was registered against Armaan.
Armaan assaulted his girlfriend while arguing over money
Neeru used to manage the actor's Goa villa which is often rented out, Bombay Times reported. She made a booking for a client, who made the payment to the villa staff. Neeru said, "When Armaan asked...about the money, I told him that I will ask the staff to transfer it. Suddenly, he started verbally abusing me." He then banged her head against the floor.

Neeru begged Armaan to let her go to the hospital and even promised she wouldn't approach the police. She said, "The wound was so deep...I had to undergo a surgery. The scar would be visible even after the surgery...the assault has damaged my skin tissues."
