Andhra Pradesh: Lover-turned-stalker stabs woman, day before her wedding
In the early hours of Wednesday, a 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her stalker in Polavaram Mandal of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, a day before her wedding. After killing her, the stalker killed himself at a nearby farm. The victim and killer were in a relationship and it ended a few months ago. He had been harassing her continuously.
Ahead of big-day, killer barged into house to stab victim
The victim identified as Dondepudi Lahari hailed from Jangareddygudem and was engaged to get married to Suresh from Polavaram on Thursday. But before the big day, the killer, Alla Kiran, 24, barged into her fiancé's house and stabbed her to death. In the process, he also injured Suresh and his brother Sathish, said Polavaram Sub Inspector Sree Hari.
After relationship ended, Kiran stalked and harassed Lahari
Lahari and Kiran's relationship ended six months ago, but he kept harassing her. Miffed with his actions, she even filed a verbal complaint at Jangareddygudem police station. The police intervened and made Kiran write a statement that he wouldn't stalk Lahari. Not long ago, a stalker slit woman's throat in Telangana
Recently, a 24-year-old woman was killed in broad daylight in Telangana's Karimnagar town by a suspected stalker. The man was reportedly stalking her for the past few months. The eyewitnesses said before slitting the victim Vootla Roshini's throat, the man Vamshidhar got into a heated argument with her. The on-spot visuals showed people thrashing the killer before handing him to police.
