Kumar was arrested in the case and was bailed-out a few days ago.
Victim's family blames police negligence for death, DCP promises action
Meanwhile, Mani Kranthi's family staged a protest outside her home with the headless body, and also got into an argument with the cops, The Hindu reported. They alleged that the police was responsible for her death, since they had ignored Mani Kranthi when she had raised concerns of receiving threats from her husband. Rao assured that they will now demand stringent punishment for Kumar.
