The cobbler prefers calling himself a shoe doctor, and Mahindra spoke about his out-of-the-box thinking on Twitter. Now months later, the chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra has given the cobbler named Narsi Ram, a new kiosk. What an amazing person you are, Mr Mahindra!
Team at Mahindra located the cobbler, he refused monetary help
Tweeting about the cobbler, Mahindra said he received the photo on WhatsApp, and appealed to people to find him, as he wanted to invest in his start-up. The team at Mahindra swung to action and Narsi Ram was located in Haryana. But what happened next was all the more surprising. Ram refused any monetary help from the company and just asked for a better kiosk.
Mahindra got cobbler a better kiosk
Now that Ram had asked for a better kiosk, how could the business tycoon not help? A team from Mahindra took on the task of making a better workstation for the cobbler. An upgrade from his previous kiosk, this one makes organizing things much easier. The new kiosk is also weather-proof. The kiosk was installed recently, and Mahindra tweeted he hoped Ram enjoyed it.
