Bangladeshi-migrants are 'termites', will be removed from voters' list: Shah
BJP President Amit Shah said Bangladeshi migrants are like termites and each one of them will be struck off the electoral roll. Referring to the draft National Register of Citizens (NRC) recently published in Assam, he said, the BJP government brought NRC and prima facie identified nearly 40 lakh illegal immigrants. He made this statement at a public meeting in Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan.
Shah says BJP in Rajasthan is like 'Angad ka Paon'
Rajasthan faces Assembly elections by 2018 end, and so both BJP and Congress are campaigning rigorously. As part of that, Shah said today that the BJP government in Rajasthan is like 'Angad ka Paon', referring to a character in Ramayana whose foot even Ravana couldn't move. He also took a dig at the Congress, saying it cannot do any good for the country.

Further, Congress has neither a leader nor a policy, Shah said. Calling Rahul Gandhi 'Rahul Baba', Shah said while he's demanding an account of BJP's work, people want to know what the four generations of his own family have done. Hailing CM Vasundhra Raje, the BJP chief said that Rajasthan was a 'Bimaru' state during Congress rule but Raje's work has brought progress.
