Haryana: All students of Palwal govt school fail Class-10 exams
District Education Officer (DEO) of Palwal (Haryana) Suman Nain today said all 51 students of Deeghot Senior Secondary School in Palwal who took Class 10 examination conducted by Haryana Board have failed. "My department has written to the Deputy Commissioner of Palwal to take strict action against the teachers as per rules," she said after Haryana Government ordered a probe into the poor result.
Villagers had locked the school in protest
On Wednesday, the villagers locked the school in protest over the poor education system, said Jitender Tanwar, Sarpanch of Deeghot village. Last month, the Board of School Education Haryana had released the Haryana Board Class 10 results. 51.15% students have passed the Class 10 board exams. The girls outnumbered boys by securing 55.34% result while 47.61% boys remained successful.
