#Jobs: Indian Army to conduct massive recruitment rally in August
The Indian Army has officially announced that it will conduct a massive recruitment rally at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Rohtak, Haryana, between 3rd August and 12th August. To participate in the recruitment rally, interested candidates will first have to get themselves registered on the official Indian Army recruitment website before July 18. Here's all about it.
Eligibility criteria for different posts in the recruitment rally
Minimum qualifications for candidates applying for the post of Soldier General Duty is passing Class 10 with 45% aggregate and at least 33% in each subject. For Gorkha candidates, a Class 10 pass certificate is enough. Candidates applying for the post of Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical are required to have passed Class 10 with 60% aggregate, and at least 50% in each subject.
Candidates have to pass a two-stage selection process
All candidates will have to pass a two-stage selection process for recruitment. The first step involves a mandatory physical fitness test. Only those who pass the physical fitness test will be eligible to take the common entrance examination (CEE), scheduled for October 28. Admit cards for the CEE will be handed out at the rally itself to those who pass the physical fitness test.
Admit cards will be issued online itself
It's important to note that the CEE will take place at the Hisar Military station, not Rohtak. Dates and schedules for physical fitness test will be shared with candidates once they successfully complete the process of online registration. Admit cards for the rally will be issued to candidates via the website itself, and these will need to be carried to the rally for entry.
Other pertinent information for the recruitment rally
Candidates aged below 18 will need to carry a signed affidavit by parents or guardians, allowing them to participate. For the rally, candidates will have to report to the main gate of the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex at 2am at night on the date specified. Notably, mobile phones will not be allowed at the rally site.
