PM Modi visits Kedarnath; will spend Diwali with jawans
What's the story
Like every other year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend this Diwali with Indian Army jawans.
After his visit to Kedarnath on Wednesday morning, Modi will head to the Punjab border to spend time with jawans. However, it is not known which part of Punjab the Prime Minister will visit.
On Twitter, Modi also wished the nation a 'Happy Diwali'.

What we know of PM Modi's schedule
At 10am today, PM Modi landed in Kedarnath in Uttarakhand.
The Prime Minister will offer prayers at the shrine, and will inspect the reconstruction work going on at Kedarpuri, which was hit by devastating floods in 2013.
He will also reportedly watch a documentary on the reconstruction work to gauge its progress.
At around 12, Modi is expected to fly to Punjab.
