The shady deals of Maddilety weren't known to his family for a long time. He also tried convincing his wife, Venkatamma to 'sign the deal'. He was also ready to give his wife to his cousin. When Venkatamma refused, Maddilety tortured her. She then ran off to her parents with the kids to protect them. But Maddilety followed them there and harassed his wife.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case for domestic violence
Narrating the ordeal, Venkatamma said, "My husband says 'it is my wish. I will do what I want with my children', so I am really scared."
