Akash and Shloka will be tying the knot this week on March 9, and preparations for their D-Day have already begun. According to media reports, the wedding is going to be an extended celebration, which will begin from March 7. Here are the details.

Mehendi ceremony to kick-start the wedding festivities
Coming to the wedding ceremonies, they will begin with the mala and mehendi rituals on March 7. Given the fact that Ambanis love doing everything with panache, it is expected that Shloka's mehendi ceremony will also be a gala affair. Reportedly, the mala and mehendi ceremonies will be taking place at the Dome, NSCI, Worli, in the evening of March 7.
Maroon 5 to perform at Akash-Shloka's sangeet?
The mehendi ceremony will be followed by a grand sangeet ceremony on March 8. Just like the pre-wedding bash, Akash and Shloka's sangeet promises to be a night to remember. In fact, if media reports are to believed, the Ambanis have struck a deal with popular American pop band Maroon 5. The band is expected to croon Akash-Shloka's favorite songs in their 40-minutes gig.
'Mangal baraat' to start at 3.30pm, wedding rituals at 7.30pm
Akash-Shloka's wedding will take place on March 9 at the Jio World Center in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). As per the itinerary, the mangal baraat will assemble at the Trident at 3:30pm and head to the wedding destination later. A high tea will also be hosted at 6:30pm, and wedding rituals will begin at 7:30pm. A reception will be held two days later.

The lavish wedding reception will be hosted by Akash and Shloka on March 11 in Mumbai. BKC is the venue for this party as well. This will also be a starry affair, with several Bollywood big shots marking their attendance, along with other prominent personalities.
