Business tycoon Mukesh Ambani's son Akash Ambani is set to get engaged to Shloka Mehta on June 30. The invites for the big event have gone viral on social media. Apart from a card, the Ambanis have reportedly sent a video invitation as well, that starts with, "O Suryadeva, You are the light in our Akash, you illuminate our every Shloka." Cheesy, much?

Details of the engagement

The engagement will take place at the Ambani residence, Antilia. The Ambanis and Mehtas celebrated the proposal in Goa, in March, this year and hosted another party for their friends in Mumbai. The wedding will happen later this year.

Shloka is a family favorite, Isha Ambani once revealed

Shloka, who is the daughter of diamond magnate Russel Mehta and Mona Mehta, has been friends with Akash since school days. Speaking about Shloka, Akash's sister Isha said there was never a point of life when they weren't friends. "I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't know Shloka. Our family feels complete in way that it never did before," she said.
