Ajit Mohan is the Vice President of Facebook India, as of 2021 and also handles Facebook Strategy for India, communication and sales. He took over his position at Facebook in 2019. In the past, he has served as the CEO of Hotstar, an online streaming platform owned by Star India. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Wharton College, University of Pennsylvania. He began his career as a consultant with the management consulting firm, Arthur D Little. In 2005, he joined the New York office of Mckinsey and Co. as a consultant where he worked with various media companies across Europe, Latin America, and North America. In 2008 he became a fellow at the Mckinsey Global Institute. He joined the Star India Network in 2012. Some of the key positions held by Mohan over the years at Star India are that of senior Vice President (corporate) and Executive Vice President. In 2015, he was inducted as the head of Hotstar and in 2016 as the president of Hotstar. He also serves as the chairman of IAMAI's Entertainment Sub Committee.
