Ahmedabad: PG-owner spied on female tenants through cameras in washroom
In a disturbing incident, a PG owner in NewsBytesapp.com/news/india/ahmedabad'>Ahmedabad was allegedly found spying on his female tenants through spy cameras in the washrooms. Speaking to NewsBytes, a victim said all 25 tenants had been targeted. His wife and son were also reportedly in on it, but the motive of the whole family's involvement is not yet known. The accused is now in police custody.
Two tenants discovered spy cameras on shower after it broke
The matter came to light when two teachers staying in the PG discovered the spy cameras in their washroom. Their shower had developed a leak, so they got it repaired themselves. But when it broke again, they informed the owner, Ramesh Gosai. Wednesday morning, he came and repaired the showerhead. But when they checked it after he left, they found a spy camera attached.
56-year-old accused working as engineer with Torrent Power
After they informed police, cops confiscated the camera and arrested Gosai. The 56-year-old engineer, employee of Torrent Power, was staying at Maitreyi Apartment on Motera Road. The PG is located in the same area.
