#HealthBytes: 3 easy homemade face-masks for great skin
Your busy schedule may refrain you from taking care of your skin health. Given the levels of pollution and the modern lifestyle and dietary habits, our skin health is bound to take a toll. However, good news is that with simple homemade face masks applied overnight, you can score supple, smooth and beautiful-looking skin. Here are 3 such DIY face mask recipes.
Overnight egg white face mask
Rich in Vitamin A, egg white can help tighten skin, close pores and fight anti-aging effects. How to prepare? Take a bowl, and add egg white to it, then apply the liquid evenly to your face. Let it dry for about 15 minutes. Keep it overnight, and wash off with cold water the next morning. Apply 2-3 times a week for amazingly beautiful skin.
Overnight turmeric and milk face mask
Raw milk helps normalize your tan and improve your skin tone, and the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of turmeric help with skin brightening. Start by taking a bowl and mixing raw milk and turmeric in it to prepare a paste. Now, using your fingers, apply it all over your face and neck, and leave overnight. Rinse off next morning with cold water.
Oats and honey face mask
A mixture of oats and honey is great for addressing skin dryness. It will soak up excess oil, aptly moisturize the skin, and even help treat acne. To prepare the mask, mix oats and honey in a bowl. Leave the mixture for five minutes to let the oats soften. Apply the mix evenly on your face, and leave overnight. Rinse off next morning.
