PM Modi condoles loss of lives in Gujarat accident
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the loss of lives in a road accident in Gujarat today. At least 19 people, including 12 women and three children, were killed when a cement-laden truck overturned on a highway near Bhavnagar. After the mishap, the driver escaped from the spot and a search has been launched to trace him. Six injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
19 of 25 people crushed to death in the accident
Sixteen laborers and three children were killed and six others injured after a truck in which they were traveling overturned in the western Indian state of Gujarat. The accident took place on Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar highway at Bavaliyari village near Dholera in Ahmedabad district early on Saturday. There were 25 laborers traveling in the truck. The vehicle turned turtle and 19 laborers were crushed to death.
