Director Aanand L. Rai, who is known for making movies like Raanjhanaa, Tanu Weds Manu series, traveled a new path with Zero. Talking about his idea of making Zero, he said, "It is about how the incompleteness of any form has nothing to do with happiness. Zero is about 'let's celebrate life in any form'. It makes me feel very dreamy".

Although the final verdict is yet to be out, Bollywood celebrities have given a thumbs up to SRK's Zero. But 'Zero' disappoints Bollywood critics, gets negative reviews
Meanwhile, the critics are highly disappointed with Zero and have called it a disaster. According to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, this SRK-starrer is an epic disappointment. He said, "Expected so much from this collaboration. Sadly, the flawed writing - especially second hour - takes the film downhill". Given the negative reviews, we wonder if Zero would bring good news for its makers.

'Zero' to get a healthy start at box office
Interestingly, Zero has managed to create a decent buzz among the cine-goers. Be it for SRK-Anand's collaboration or the splendid cast, the movie was awaited by all. Given the curiosity, it expected that Zero will witness a healthy start at the box office. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, it will make a collection of around Rs. 30 crore on its first day.
