Actor Zareen Khan and former Bigg Boss contestant Shivashish Mishra have reportedly ended their three years of relationship. The couple, who were initially set to tie the knot in November 2023, called it quits earlier this year due to undisclosed reasons. Per a close friend of the pair, cited by Times of India, the split occurred between February and March.
'Breakup has been mutual,' says friend
A close friend of the couple confirmed the breakup to TOI, stating, "There are a few reasons that led to the breakup a few months ago. They have different upbringings, however, the breakup has been mutual." The friend added that both Khan and Mishra have since unfollowed each other on social media. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to them, neither party has responded.
Khan, Mishra started dating in 2021
Khan and Mishra began dating around 2021. In an interview with a portal that year, Khan had said, "We are trying to get to know each other. We are similar people and like each other's company. Let's see where it goes." She had also mentioned that they had met at the beginning of the year and were best friends, regardless of their dating status.
Khan recently expressed her disinterest in marriage
In a recent podcast with comedian Bharti Singh, Khan expressed her disinterest in the idea of marriage. When asked about marriage proposals, she responded, "Nobody approaches on my face, if they are trying then I don't know. Mujhe nahi karni koi shaadi (I don't want to get married)." She further explained her stance by comparing the current state of relationships to the ease of ordering food online.
